First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MicroVention.
Intern
Standard interview process. Started with a recruiter call, then a general manager interview. After that, I interviewed with 3 people from the team back-to-back. The people were nice and quick to respond. It took them about a week to make a decision.
- What motivates you to work at this company?
Intern
The whole thing took quite a while. It kicked off with a phone interview where they asked some basic stuff about my resume, my lab work, and the projects I'd done. Then, about four weeks later, I had a panel interview where we talked about that same list of things. Unfortunately, I didn't get the internship because they said I had "limited experience"... which is kind of wild for an internship.
- Can you tell me about your resume?
- What is your understanding of the company?
- What do you know about medical devices?
Intern
Nice process nice people. They ask mostly about experience, why this company and lot of conversation. It seems mostly based on fit. Only downside is process took a while, ~2 months but it was during covid so some troubles were expected
- Can you tell me about your past work experience or academic projects?
