Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Microlins.
Instructor
It was a talk about my experience and knowledge. They asked about my career expectations and what I was expecting to do there. It was a bit about me. The interview was at the place I would be working. The supervisors explained the institution's situation and its goals, as well as career purpose. I was asked about how I can guide the students and provide various types of orientation.
- Could you explain an Excel function?
Instructor
The interview was standard but very generic with questions like "what is happiness to you?" I had to wait 1 hour to be seen even though there were no other candidates there.
- What do you consider to be successful
Educator
It was a very relaxed process. The interviewer was good and confident with their questions. They also talked about the company and the unit we'd be working in, as well as its future plans. No career plan was presented, so I don't think the company sees employees long-term.
- What are your expectations for the role?
