First, there's like a 1-hour screening where they ask a bunch of questions and want super short answers. If you pass that, then you have 4 interviews, each 45 minutes long, with different people. The interviews were pretty standard difficulty-wise, but it was annoying that two interviewers didn't show their faces. It took them more than a month to get back to me with a rejection because the hiring manager was apparently ghosting the recruiter.

After applying, I received a Teams meeting link within a week for a short 15-minute call to introduce ourselves and set up the technical interview. We talked about working overtime on projects, being flexible with schedules because of the India-based design teams, and if I was comfortable with lab equipment and rtl.

A recruiter reached out to me by phone. The whole interview was about behavioral questions and past projects on my resume. Since I have a software background, they asked how my skills apply to system validation and if I'm doing any hardware/firmware side projects. The lead interviewer was really nice and even followed up with an email so I could ask more questions.

Confirmed questions3 questions
  • Were you ever directly involved with computer chips?
  • How do your skills translate to system validation?
  • Are you currently working on any hardware or firmware related side projects?
