First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Microbac Laboratories, Inc..
Analyst
The interview was pretty basic. The interviewer didn't seem to know about some of my education until I brought it up. It felt rushed, and I didn't get the impression they were trying to get to know me. I was ghosted after the interview, even after following up over a week later, which was disappointing.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
- What makes you want to work at this company?
Analyst
Had a quick phone call to set up an in-person interview. Then, a general job interview covering strengths, weaknesses, motivations for joining the company, and contributions you could make. They asked about how your background aligns with the company's needs and your own career goals. You'll be notified about the outcome, but they won't reach out if you're not selected.
- In what ways can your professional background contribute to this organization?
- How could your experience be advantageous for the company?
- What benefits could you bring to the company if you were hired?
Analyst
I had a long in-person interview that included a tour and job overview, lasting about two hours. After that, I had a 30-minute phone interview with the director. Both interviewers were very personable, and I felt comfortable. There were no specific technical or skill-based questions.
- Can you describe how time management was utilized in your previous role?
- What's something people often misunderstand about you?
