Sales Representative
Had a good initial chat with HR about my skills, experience, and what motivates me. Then, I had to prepare a big presentation for the next interview with two Sales Managers. It was a really bad experience. Both of them showed up on Zoom looking pretty unkempt and claimed to have wifi issues, turning off their cameras. They gave negative feedback on everything I discussed. They mentioned they couldn't hire someone outside the UK at this point. This is despite knowing from the start that I wasn't in the UK, so it felt like they just used me to fulfill some internal process. Super unprofessional and a waste of my time. Glad I don't have to work with them.

Inside Sales
After applying online, I got an email to call them. I did, and it was a two-part extensive process. They first confirm your education and why you chose sales. Then they ask common questions like your 3-year plan, why you'll succeed here, and how you'd correct a failed quota. They also ask about past successes and teamwork. After about 30 minutes, they tell you if you've qualified for the next stage. Keep your answers concise; that was my feedback. Show energy and connect with your interviewer. The next step is an in-person interview, just as thorough. They're serious about hiring only the top %, as many experienced sales people didn't make it. There will be mock sales pitches and sales strategy sessions. They'll test your ability to create sales pitches/plans quickly. Stay calm, confident, and assertive. Being nervous is okay, but confidence and assertiveness will earn their trust. If you pass this second test, they'll inform you the same day, and the hiring process continues.
- What are your three biggest weaknesses, according to your friends or colleagues?
Sales Operations
It was a pretty fast and professional process. First, there was a screen call, then a call with the hiring manager. After that, HR screened me, and then I had a 360 interview with some group members and people who would be my direct reports. The whole thing took less than 21 days. After a positive background check, I got the offer and was in the system within a few days.
- Can you share an example of how you've resolved conflict in the past?
