This was a long interview process after I specifically mentioned my expectations and an offer I was holding, and was told it would be matched. It started with a 1-hour technical round covering theory and coding. The second round was 2 hours and included theory, coding, and behavioral scenarios. Then there was a 1-hour managerial round with scenario-based questions, followed by a 15-minute HR round. Although the process was thorough, they ultimately couldn't meet my salary expectations, offering only what I was currently earning.

So basically, it was an on-campus selection. The qualification was min 75% throughout academics. The first round was a written test. It had computer system concepts, operating systems, databases, computer networking, logical aptitude, and C and C++ MCQs. There was also one coding question where you had to write a program that accepts one code, detects all the comments, and displays them. It was conducted on HackerRank and had a time limit of 90 minutes. There were 50 MCQs and 1 coding question. Only 10 people were selected for the next interview.

The interview process was a mixed bag. While things seemed to go well initially, the managerial round was a significant disappointment. The manager's decision on salary is the sole determinant, with no consideration given to your technical experience. They are primarily looking for candidates willing to accept a lower salary, and only then will they extend an offer. Honestly, it feels like a complete waste of time to interview with this company given this approach.
