I found the job online and reached out to the HR recruiter to let her know which job I had applied for and that I was interested. I got an interview about a month later. They asked me to bring my three professional references and my certs (like BLS, ACLS) to the interview. I interviewed with the Nurse Manager for almost an hour, and it was mostly performance-based questions. Then I had a staff interview with three RNs on the floor, which took about 15 minutes. I got offered the job about a week later.

Behavioral

It was a straightforward interview where they focused on my qualifications and what I expect from the job. They were upfront about job expectations, pay, parking, and union details. I felt the supervisor was realistic and honest about the job and communicated everything very clearly. It was a great interview that focused on the job itself and didn't ask tricky interview questions.
