Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Michelin.
Assembly Line Worker
I had a 30-minute video call with HR after a current Michelin employee sent my resume over. The person interviewing me was nice. They offered me a job, but then a few weeks later they contacted me again because my start dates didn't work out. So in the end, I didn't get the offer.
- Tell me about yourself. Why did you choose Michelin over other companies?
Production Supervisor
The process was well organized but had too many steps. There were 5 interviews in the final phase alone, not to mention the in-person interview, which is quite outdated nowadays. At the end of the process, they don't provide any feedback, which I consider disrespectful given the time we dedicated to it.
- What would you do if production levels were below average?
Production Operator
They asked about if I could work in a team setting. They asked how many times was it acceptable to be absent at a job. They went over the hiring process and the rotating schedule. 401k match and other company benefits.
- Were you asked about your ability to work in a team?
- Were you asked how many absences are acceptable?
- Was the hiring process explained?
