Behavioral Presentation

The interview process kicked off with a brief screening. After that, I was invited to their headquarters in Greenville, SC for an all-day interview experience. It involved about 4-5 in-person interviews where they asked typical questions like 'why us,' 'why you,' and 'why we are great.' Then, I had to give a presentation, under 5 minutes, on why I'd be a good fit for Michelin. It was a bit unusual because they didn't allow notecards or PowerPoint, even though Michelin uses PowerPoint extensively for everything.

The interview process involved two phone interviews. Following that, I was flown to G'ville, SC for a formal interview. This formal interview included a session where I interviewed alongside two other candidates, though we were not necessarily competing against each other as we may all be employed. For someone with experience, it was a straightforward interview, but I imagine it would be more challenging for a recent college graduate.

You'll need to apply on the Michelin website first. If HR likes your application, they'll call you for a phone interview to screen you. If you pass that, you'll head to Greenville, SC for a full day of interviews with 5-6 people from different parts of the company. They'll compare notes afterward to decide who to offer the job to. If you're coming from out of state, they'll cover your travel and hotel for the formal interview. Just so you know, for sales roles, they only hire a few small groups (10-20 people) each year, and the formal interview process includes 3-5 other candidates.
