Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Michelin North America.
Public Relations Manager
The process was pretty quick. My first interview was very professional. The HR manager went over the role and the company's values in detail. They also took time to review my experience and asked questions about it from a professional standpoint.
- In what ways do the company's values resonate with your personal values?
PR Manager
The interview process was pretty simple. First, I had a phone call with HR or a recruiter. Then, I was invited to Greenville, SC for in-person interviews. There, I met some team members and HR. After that, I had a third round of interviews, also in Greenville, SC, where I met my direct manager and their supervisor. I got the job offer two days after the final round. HR managed the whole thing, and they covered travel expenses. Everything went really smoothly and felt well-organized.
- Were the questions about your PR experience straightforward?
- Did you encounter any unusual or unexpected questions?
- Were the questions basic and standard for a PR Manager role?
Internal Communications Manager
It began with a quick phone chat, then I had a remote interview with an HR person, and finally, an in-person meeting with the committee on-site, which included a tour of the facility, production, and testing areas.
- Can you share an example of a creative way you've communicated a new policy or initiative and explain how you verified its success?
