it was simple and easy, i got hired on the spot. they asked about my availability, what pay i wanted, and not much else. i'm writing this review mainly so i can get access to another review page. i worked at michaels a while back and now everything is digital. as a cashier you're basically making sure people aren't stealing and helping them if they have any checkout issues.

I applied and got an email about an interview. I went in and they took me to the back. The interviewer seemed sick and unprepared, not really sure what to ask. I never heard back after that.

The interview was really laid-back. Mostly, they asked practical stuff like my availability and when I could start, instead of typical interview questions. There were some questions about how I'd handle certain situations, and some obvious questions, but nothing tricky. It felt more like a formality.

  • What action would you take if you suspected a customer of shoplifting?
