First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Michael Page.
Account Manager
I was approached by someone Sr. at MP. The gentleman scheduled the interview after checking for my schedule, but never showed up at the time my interview was scheduled. This was someone at the director level, and when I followed-up, they never even responded to my calls/messages or email. This is my second time interacting with the company and I had a similar negative experience last time where I had three rounds of interviews, one telephonic and 2 in-person. There was lack of communication where I was told in the first 2 rounds that I was being interviewed for a particular team and when I met the director in-person, he was looking to hire for a totally separate team. Highly unprofessional and no regards for my time. I hope they start respecting the fact that job seekers need to be treated with utmost professionalism.

The interview started with a getting-to-know-you phase with small talk. After I presented my career history, there was an intensive question and answer session about my current job, skills, and future plans. We also discussed various possible positions and checked for a potential fit.
