Manager
It was smooth, but quite slow with some waiting periods between sessions. HR was responsive to questions and follow-ups. I'd recommend it if you're looking at similar companies. People are smart but very busy, leading to some meeting reschedules and time shifts.
- Can you describe your experience improving the execution of store merchandising?
Assistant Manager
This was a good interview overall. It started with some standard questions like telling me about yourself and walking through my resume.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Could you walk me through your resume?
- How did you learn about this role?
Manager
I had a really awful experience. It started great with a nice recruiter, then I got a call from the store manager. My phone acted up, so I called back and the person who answered laughed and hung up. I later got a voicemail that was cut off and an email saying the store manager viewed my LinkedIn. I called back, and the manager said he wanted to interview me but needed to check with the other manager for their schedule. I never heard back. It felt like they judged me based on my LinkedIn picture instead of my resume, which is weird because they reached out to me initially.
- Can you tell me your availability over the next few days for an interview?
