First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Michael Allen Company.
Research Associate
I applied through my university and got an email for a 30-minute interview with a partner in a week. After that, I had a 48-hour take-home case/data analysis assessment using patient data. Then, I did a half-day of interviews over Zoom with 5-6 associates and partners. They said I'd hear back in about two weeks. It's been over a month, and I haven't heard back even after emailing them multiple times. I don't suggest interviewing with them if they don't respect candidates' time.

So the interview was mostly about discussing projects from my resume. They also asked some behavioral questions. The whole thing was about 30-45 minutes long and I talked to a partner. They really dug into the details of my projects, asking specifically about the analytical methods I used for three different research projects.
- Could you tell me about the most recent research you've conducted?
- What was the latest research you were involved in?
- Tell me about your most recent research endeavor.
Research Associate
The whole process takes about a month. After resume screening, some candidates were selected to be interviewed on campus, and a week later, an onsite interview was scheduled. For the onsite interview, you will meet with about 7 people from the company and questions range from case to statistics. About two weeks later, a technical assessment was given to test coding, statistics, and reporting ability.
