They liked my resume and I thought I had a good chance. Then they sent me an email for a pre-employment aptitude test, the CCAT. It had math questions like 'If a plane travels at a speed of 400 miles per hour, how many hours will it take to travel 3000 miles?' and language questions like 'Select the pair that best expresses a similar relationship to: Peel : Peal'. I think this kind of test is dumb, especially for a content moderation job. After taking it, I heard nothing back. So frustrating after all that work, I'm totally capable of moderation! Why not a simple interview so I could show what I can do? Total BS.

It's a really long and tough interview process. I made it to the second round but didn't get the job. They were hiring for two roles and had like 1000 people interviewing. Does anyone know why it's so rigorous?

The interview process was really detailed. I went through three assessments and two interviews. The first two assessments checked my attention to detail and my decision-making skills for content moderation scenarios. The last assessment was like an IQ test. All of them were timed, which was the most stressful part for me. First, there was a 30-minute HR interview with screening questions, some about my work history, and one situational question. The final interview was much longer. It was tough, but I liked how clear everything was. I got regular updates and resources to prepare for the assessments. The interviewers were nice and made me feel comfortable. Even though it was harder than I expected, I'm glad I did it and I'm impressed with Miaplaza's standards. Don't let the assessments scare you! Just breathe, have a pen and paper, and use your best judgment. You can do it!
