The interview process involved two rounds. First, I spoke with the VP of technology services. They asked some technical questions about cloud security and networking. The second round was with the EVP/General manager, which was more of a discussion with the retail group boss and didn't include any technical questions.

Confirmed questions4 questions
  • Can you describe your experience managing operations in a cloud environment?
  • Which load balancers have you utilized for managing external traffic?
  • Could you discuss your previous projects and experience with cloud migrations?

Technical Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was super smooth and wrapped up in 2 weeks for me. It was a bit of an unusual path since I spoke with the VP first. He was really nice and told me all about the role and the company. After that, there was an aptitude and a technical test. The last round was with the department head and a senior technical consultant, and it included both technical and non-technical stuff. Both of them were really patient and encouraging.

Confirmed questions6 questions
  • Tell me about your technical knowledge of SQL.
  • Can you discuss your technical experience with APIs?
  • What can you tell me about your past experience?

First, there was an online test. Then, an on-site interview followed. The on-site was pretty standard: they gave a quick overview of the company, went over my background and the online test results, and we talked about how to optimize the answer I submitted for the online test. Specifically, we discussed improving the time complexity and removing unnecessary code during optimization.

Confirmed questions7 questions
  • Online test was a tree traverse problem.
  • Can you give a brief description about the company?
  • Can you walk me through your background?

Technical Coding

I sent in my application online and the very next day, I got an email asking me to do two online tests. The first one had 11 math problems, and the second one was a typical programming test with 3 questions on tree traversal. I submitted the test, and the day after, they rang to set up a time for an interview at their office.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • Could you elaborate on how to improve the provided solution for the tree traversal problem?
  • What are the necessary pre-conditions for the solution to the tree traversal problem?
