The recruiting process had 2 interviews. First, a phone call about me, then a face-to-face technical interview with the management team. They asked general JavaScript and SQL questions. Then they asked me to speak in English, which was fine, but then in German, which was not so good. I did not get the role.

Extremely unprofessional process. After the initial HR call where conditions were set, I was invited for a 2nd interview where I had to prepare a complex case. The interview went well and we talked about starting. I mentioned I could only do 3 months which HR knew and was in the ad. This was unknown to both interviewers. Then I was rejected via a simple email, likely due to availability. Besides the unprofesional internal communication and being called by 3 different interns asking the same questions and being uninformed, I wasted my time on a case study and a long interview. If my availability was communicated better internally from the start, I would have saved myself the interview and process!

So basically there were two phone calls and then an in-person interview in Ludwigsburg. The first phone call was with HR, mostly to see if we were on the same page about stuff like the topics we'd work on, how long the internship would be, and the basic requirements (like it being a mandatory internship, pay, etc.). Then, the second phone call was with two people who would end up being my supervisors. This one was a little more technical, but again, the main goal was to see if we were a good fit and if I was eager to jump in and learn. The actual interview kicked off with me doing a quick self-introduction, then they explained about the company and what the Cluster/Business Area does. After that, they asked a few technical questions, but honestly, nothing too scary for an intern. To wrap things up, they threw in two brain teasers.
