Submitted my application online. Then I had a phone screening, which was a few weeks after I applied. After that, I had a phone interview with an Office Partner. Next was a Webex interview with a Manager and another Partner. I followed up with the recruiter to ask for more time to review their offer, and they were very accommodating. Overall, I had a good experience with the recruiting process.

I had a self-recorded video interview with 5 questions where I could redo my answers. Then, a 30-minute session where a Partner talked about the firm. After that, we split into two groups. One group did two 20-minute interviews with a manager and director, while the other group participated in a Q&A panel with current associates. Then we switched so the Q&A group did the 1-on-1 interviews, and the other group did the Q&A. We all went to lunch afterward. It was a relaxed and conversational interview. They asked a few questions and then left most of the time for my questions. The only downside was not hearing back about the status.

The interview process seemed straightforward initially. However, after we discussed salary, they informed me about a mandatory one-year bond, with a penalty of 2 lakhs if I didn't comply. Once I agreed to this condition, they asked me to wait for a day. Two weeks passed, and when I contacted them for an update, they stated they were no longer hiring. My time was essentially wasted.
