The interview process was rated 0/10. It involved a one-way interview where I had to record myself answering some pretty bad questions. Personally, I don't think one-way interviews are the best way to find good candidates and might let biases slip through.

The interview process started with a hacker rank test that had 2 questions, which were pretty easy. Then there was a 45-minute hiring manager coding round where they asked two LeetCode-style questions, one being a modified palindrome problem and the second being about the number of set bits in a given number. This was followed by a 4-hour interview loop that included 2 coding rounds and 2 technical/behavioral rounds. The first round involved a discussion about my project and work experience, with questions about my roles and duties and the toughest challenge I'd faced at work. The second round focused on standard behavioral questions, including teamwork. The third round was a hard coding problem involving tracking the execution time (start and end times) of recursive function calls. The fourth round was a coding problem involving basic but lengthy hashtable problems related to items in a shopping cart. Finally, there was a background check.

Coding Technical Behavioral

I applied online and a few days later got an invite to take a HackerRank test. It was two problems, can be solved in virtually any language, and I was given 120 min. They were easy in my opinion, only took about 30 minutes total. After the HackerRank test I was contacted by the hiring manager and set up a 1hr teams interview. He sent me a coding problem and monitored while I solved it. Once I was done we went over time/space complexity and I answered some questions about my solution. Last stage was a round of 4, 45 minute interviews. 3 were technical, I was given LeetCode problems to solve and 1 was behavioral. After that I was not selected for this team but I was offered a position in a product management role.
