Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at MGM Resorts International.
Internal Auditor
The process kicked off with a preliminary call to verify if I met the basic requirements. Following that, I was invited for a two-part interview session. The first part involved meeting with two supervisors, and the second part was with two directors. This interview focused heavily on behavioral questions, like 'tell me about a time...' After completing this stage, I had a final meeting with the VP.
- Can you describe a situation where you encountered a challenging task or a tight deadline and explain how you managed it?
Internal Audit Intern
I had a call from a manager, and then a panel interview with two managers. It felt pretty friendly. They asked usual questions, nothing tough or surprising. Honesty about customer service was key; I didn't get the internship because of my honest answer there.
- They asked about my thoughts on customer service.
Audit Associate
So I spoke to HR first, and then I moved on to the department interview. But I had to drop out because speaking Cantonese was a must for the job.
- Can you speak two languages?
- What do you expect from this position?
