Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mettler-Toledo.
Applications Engineer
The interview process was super easy. First, I spoke with HR, then the Manager. After that, it was an in-person interview with many of the peers I would be working with. I also got a tour of the facility and met lots of different people. I wasn't asked as many deep questions as I thought I would be, and there wasn't much enthusiasm.
- What are your thoughts on frequent customer interaction?
Field Service Engineer
After an initial recruiter call, I had a second Zoom interview with 4 managers and an HR manager, none of whom would be my direct manager. I had to present myself and answer 3 questions in about 15 minutes. The environment felt very stressful, they were demanding and unsupportive, and no managers gave direct feedback.
- Could you tell us what you know about our products?
Field Service Engineer
Had a phone interview with a recruiter, then they flew me out to the corporate office for a round-robin of interviews where I met with all the management team. I wish there had been a field rep there too, so I could've gotten a better feel for the day-to-day tasks from someone doing the job.
- Can you introduce yourself?
