First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Metso.
Intern
It was a really smooth process. First, I had a chat with HR, and the interviewer was super nice, making me feel comfortable talking about my career goals and past jobs. A few days later, I had another interview, this time with the manager of the department I'd be interning in. She was really friendly and easy to talk to. We had a great conversation, and she gave me a lot of clarity about the role, what the company does, and the salary and benefits. Overall, it was a good experience.

Intern
I had an interview at their office in Frenchs Forrest. It was in person, and there was a recruiter there with me, and another one was also listening in and asking/answering questions. The interview started with them explaining the company, how they work, and the job itself. Then they asked some easy questions, followed by some more challenging ones.
- What are your long-term career aspirations, looking 5-10 years ahead?
Jovem Aprendiz
The process started with employee referrals, then there was a general knowledge test, a group activity, and an interview. The interview was objective, focusing on interest in learning and future plans. The HR team was very qualified. In the process I participated in, 1000 candidates started for 14 open positions in that selection process.
