I went through three interviews in total. First, I had a casual chat with someone I knew. Then, HR called me for a 30-minute interview. After that, I was part of a one-hour panel interview with some team members. Later, HR contacted me again and let me know the interviews went well.

Technical Presentation

The interview process started with an initial phone screening. Following that, there were about 8 hours of interviews, which included lunch. A significant part of the process involved giving an hour-long presentation on the work I had done for my thesis. A lot of the thesis was theoretical, and it seemed like most interviewers had limited knowledge in that specific area. The company has many different projects ongoing, and it was hard to get a clear understanding of what my role would actually be within the organization.

I had a 10-20 minute phone call that wasn't very technical, mostly asking about my background. Then there was a 2 hour interview which included one-on-one parts and a technical presentation. I got the offer about 2-3 weeks before the official written offer.
