The interview had 3 stages. It started with an online coding test on Codility, where I did well. Then I moved to a live coding interview, which also went great. The last stage was a chat with the boss. This part was weird though. It wasn't technical at all, they asked me what I'd do in a zombie apocalypse and then drilled down on everything I said. I really didn't like these kinds of questions, which I guess is common for technical folks. It felt like they lost out on a good candidate because of this silly question, especially since I did well in the earlier technical parts. Trying to judge culture fit with such a hypothetical question isn't the right way, as we deal with people at work, not zombies.
