The interview was 30 minutes long and included both technical and CV-related questions. The focus was primarily on CM1 topics like premiums and reserves, as well as different types of assurances. They also asked behavioral questions like 'what is your biggest achievement in life'.

So I applied for a position that I wasn't really qualified for, but during the phone screen, I was upfront about not having my ASA and asked if there was a more entry-level opening. They ended up calling me back for an in-person interview, which was a bit confusing since they didn't mention my qualifications or the ASA issue. The recruiter didn't have much info either, and I didn't want to use PTO for a role I might not be qualified for. I went to the interview anyway. I met with the VP of the group, a team member, and then the hiring manager. It was with the hiring manager that I found out I was actually being interviewed for a different role than I initially thought. The interviews were pretty relaxed, more about getting a feel for me than tough questions. I got an offer the next day.

I applied for an intern position in their Dublin office through my university. The process was pretty simple and fast. About a week after applying, I got a phone call to set up an interview. Three days later, I had the interview. It was super chill and friendly, and they just wanted to chat about my CV. They asked me about my teamwork and communication abilities, my reasons for pursuing actuarial science, my understanding of the role itself, the insurance sector, and MetLife. About an hour after finishing up, they called me with a job offer. It was a really nice experience overall.
