The response was quick and they asked some standard behavioral questions. There were also a few people interviewing from different departments. They also inquired about background and how to manage certain situations. The interviewers were pleasant and seemed keen to hear my responses.

I spoke with the unit manager by phone after she contacted me about my application. The in-person interview involved 5 nurses with various roles on the unit. They were really nice and welcoming. It felt more like a chat than a rapid-fire Q&A. The staff seemed genuinely interested in learning about me and asked a few questions about my past experience listed on my resume. They asked about my decision to go into that specialty, my career aspirations, and my views on teamwork. I asked them what they liked most about their jobs at Methodist, and four of them mentioned they really enjoyed their colleagues, which was good to hear. At the end, a nurse gave me a brief tour of the unit, introducing the other nurses we met, and we made small talk. Overall, the staff were great and friendly, and the interview was very relaxed and comfortable for both sides.
