Project Manager
I started by working with a great 3rd party recruiter. After the initial chats, I met with the Meteor team. It was a really relaxed vibe, more of a good conversation than a formal interview. We discussed furniture and my background, and they threw in a few 'what if' customer situations. They seemed like good people to work with.
- Can you share your experience regarding furniture?
- What insights do you have about furniture?
- How would you handle a given customer scenario?
Project Manager
It was a very impersonal screening process. I was shocked at how little my interviewer interacted with me or seemed interested. I asked twice if someone was still there because they weren't making any noise.
- Can you tell me how you stay organized?
Project Manager
I started with a phone screen with HR, which was great. Then, I had a Zoom interview with the Managing Director and VP of Operations. We talked about my experience and what I'm looking for. They went over my resume and asked about my responsibilities and some situational questions. I got to ask them questions too. They said I'd hear back in 3-4 days, and I got the offer on day 3.
- Would you be okay with traveling all over the country to client sites and meeting third-party providers?
- Have you held a remote job previously?
