First round was with the hiring manager, included a coding problem. Second round was 45 minutes each with 4 people (engineers and directors), then a 45-minute chat with a VP. Most of them were new hires and the content was disorganized. Each technical interviewer had their own questions and coding problems, with a lot of repeated knowledge questions. Some coding exercises were tricky timewise if you didn't have them memorized. A few interviewers gave unhelpful feedback during the coding part.

First, there was a phone call to chat casually about the company and my background. Then, HR sent an email with details for an in-person interview. The interview itself was quite technical. I met with four different groups of people for about 30-45 minutes each. It wrapped up with an HR person who gave me a questionnaire about the role and the interview. Everyone was super friendly, and even though the questions were tough, they made it feel pretty comfortable. They also seemed to do a background check.

Behavioral Technical Coding System Design

I was approached by a recruiter for a software engineer role. First, I had a phone call with the technical director, who seemed interested in my technical skills, background, and personality. It lasted about 50 minutes. Then, they invited me for an on-site interview at their HQ. The on-site involved 4 interviews with a VP, two senior software engineers, and the technical director again. It was scheduled for 3 hours but ended up taking 4. The interviews with the technical director and engineers were more technical, focusing on my projects, technologies, and architectures. One engineer asked about designing a web service, and the other focused on algorithms and data structures; the technical questions were of average difficulty. The VP's interview was more personal. The team was quite secretive about their projects, only giving headlines. A few days later, the recruiter called about another on-site with a different team, saying they needed a more senior SE. I declined because I wasn't interested enough in their business. The process ended there, with no offer or discussion of pay.
