So there were two phone calls before I came in for the day-long onsite. The onsite included giving a talk on my previous work, and then I met with 5 different pairs of people, each meeting lasting about 30 minutes. I also had a nice lunch. Honestly, I didn't get a clear picture of how decisions are made at the highest levels of the company. I was also led to believe I'd have more autonomy than I actually ended up having.
