The interview process was really long and took forever. I had to do multiple rounds of the same interview with different people, so it ended up taking months. They didn't give much information about what the whole process would be like.

I got a phone call from a financial advisor, who also went to my school. She invited me for an interview the next week and gave me directions to the office. When I got there, I met with the advisor and the VP of the department at the BoA-Merrill Lynch building in downtown Chicago. They were both really nice and the interview wasn't super stressful. It was tough though because they didn't ask the standard questions you can prepare for to show off your skills. It was actually very casual and only about 20 minutes long, which made it hard to really explain who I am. It felt like they were more interested in finding someone they could work well with, especially since they only interviewed people who had already passed the finance resume test, which I think is a reasonable way to hire.
