First, we check your CV and cover letter for experience in livelihoods, food security, and humanitarian programming. We really want to see that you can handle tough environments and understand how to approach things with a gender lens. After that, there's an initial interview.

The interview process was straightforward and professional. I was given an assignment first, followed by an interview. The HR department was very quick to respond. I accepted the offer and started working. The people are friendly and the work environment seems good. Ethics and integrity are important.

It started off pretty standard with a screening interview. Then went to the next round with the team, where I was then told that I had to wait three weeks to a month for a decision because they were “waiting for another candidate.” Took them over a month to tell me that I did not get the job because they had hired someone already on their team for the position.
