HR reached out directly about the role. The first step was a phone interview, followed by an in-person meeting in a conference room. The initial part involved HR discussing my background. Then, I met with the hiring manager who asked some questions that needed deep knowledge about their chips, which they knew I wouldn't have as a recent grad. He also mentioned long hours are expected, with vague promises of improvement in 9 months. I got a text the next day saying I wasn't moving forward.

I applied to Mercury Systems Arizona and heard back a day later. I had three phone interviews with the recruiter, the hiring manager, and then a senior engineer. Jennifer and her team answered all my questions thoroughly. I couldn't join for reasons unrelated to Mercury, but I'm sure onboarding would have been smooth.
