Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mercer.
Consultant
I was invited for multiple rounds and had to attend interviews very early in the morning. Unfortunately, I received no feedback or response after the final round, which was quite unprofessional. I'd suggest documenting everything via email if you decide to interview with them.
- Were general technical questions asked to assess your consulting acumen?
Consultant
The interview process was really good. Professional, structured, and clear all the way through. The recruiter kept me updated and told me what to expect. Each interview felt like it had a purpose and the questions were spot on for the job. The interviewers were nice, respectful, and seemed genuinely interested in me and my career goals. I liked that they got back to me quickly after each step and gave me helpful feedback. Overall, it made me feel good about the company and the job.
- Tell me about the methodologies you're familiar with.
- Can you share your experience in HR?
- How do you approach your ways of working?
Health Consultant
The interview process was pretty fair and relaxed. It started with a HireVue video interview, then a one-on-one interview. Both of these were behavioral. The last round had four 15-minute interviews back-to-back with four different people. They were all nice and friendly. I didn't get an offer in the end, but the recruiters were great, really friendly and genuine.
