Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India.
Principal Consultant
There are about 3-4 rounds of interviews, and it really depends on the specific project you're interviewing for. First, there's a technical round, then a managerial one. Sometimes you skip the manager interview. The fourth round is with the German team if you're interviewing for a project involving them. After these, an HR round will happen while they're working on releasing the offer. The whole process can be slow depending on what they need, but for me, it took from July to October to get the offer.
- What are your technical skills relevant to this role?
Consultant
The interview process was pretty good and had three parts: technical, managerial, and HR. The technical part was tough but good, focusing on data structures, collections, and the Stream API. It was easy to get through and done professionally. The managerial and HR parts were simple too.
- Can you tell me about your past work experiences?
- What is your understanding of data structures?
Senior Consultant
So I had one short phone interview first, then two technical rounds that were combined into one long one that lasted 2.5 hours. After that, there was a managerial round and then an HR chat where we went over all the policies and benefits.
