Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mercedes-Benz Group.
Working Student
The interviewer introduced himself, his position, and the company. Then I briefly introduced myself and the questions started. Two people were involved in the interview.
- How is your teamwork?
- How do you handle stress?
- What are your personal goals and your motivation for this position?
Working Student
Very casual get-to-know-you, standard questions and a brief explanation of personal motivation. Afterwards, some technical questions. I recommend informing yourself beforehand about current challenges and knowing the company history. You should also know the current product range and inform yourself about the newest models.
- Why did you choose Mercedes-Benz over any other car company?
Working Student
The current working student and my future supervisor interviewed me. Not much information could be exchanged from either side, as the conversation was very short and it didn't seem like both attendees were really prepared. However, it was a very, very relaxed conversation, which was more like a nice chat.
- Could you tell me something about yourself?
