Software Engineer
We'll start with a casual chat to get comfortable. The interviewers (maybe HR, the department, or your future manager) will introduce themselves. The goal is to create a relaxed atmosphere. Then, there will be a short company presentation (about 5–10 minutes) covering our history, values, structure, and current projects. Following that, we'll introduce the specific department or team you might join.
- Is there anything you'd like to ask us later on?
Software Engineer
It was a pretty good interview process. I started with a take-home assignment that involved software development and testing. After that, I had an onsite interview where managers asked about my previous experience. Then, I had a meeting with the group or department manager. After that, there were supposed to be some HR meetings to sort out the contract and offer, but unfortunately, the process ended because of covid.
- Can you describe your past work experiences?
Software Engineer Intern
This was the second round, a technical interview. It started with a quick intro. Then, I was asked about my M.Tech major project and my B.Tech project, with most questions coming from my resume. The interviewer also asked about automotive engineering, like different suspension systems and how parameters affect ride and handling, plus some electric vehicle stuff. It was supposed to be 30 minutes.
- Could you please introduce yourself?
- Tell me about your M.Tech major project.
- Tell me about your B.Tech project.
