Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Mercedes-Benz Group.
Sales Representative
The interview process was very well prepared, with a nice atmosphere, professional, and intensive. It felt like a comfortable environment, everyone was motivated, I was well-prepared, and so were the others. We talked about my resume, and clear goals were set.
- How can I further develop myself?
Sales
After submitting my application, I had a brief and very friendly phone call. Following that, I was invited for an in-person meeting. Unfortunately, the entire interview took place in a large office where all other employees could listen in, which I found quite uncomfortable. On the positive side, I was given ample time to chat with the current interns over coffee. After the interview, they said they would be in touch. Sadly, I never heard back from Daimler. This is not an acceptable way to treat potential employees and shows no appreciation whatsoever.
- What motivates your interest in this specific position and location?
- Could you highlight the skills you bring that would be valuable to us?
Sales Representative
The interview was pretty standard. They asked about strengths and weaknesses, why I applied, and discussed my resume. Then there was a sales pitch where the main goal was to see how I react under pressure and if I can handle objections. Overall, it felt quite fair.
- Wie gehen Sie mit Stress um?
