Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

The interview process at Mercado Libre for a UX/UI Designer role usually has a few steps: it starts with an initial HR chat to check your motivation and if you fit the company culture. Then, there's a technical assessment where they look at your portfolio, your design process, your UX thinking, and how well you use tools like Figma. After that, you'll have a chat with the design and product teams, where they'll give you a practical case or a UX challenge. Lastly, there's a meeting with leaders or managers to see if you align with the company's values and vision.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The recruitment process was excellently managed! The People team was very attentive and careful in their treatment of candidates, keeping me informed at all times about the status and stages. The professionals who participated in the stages were also very attentive and interested. They provided very useful feedback at all stages, even after the positive offer, which is something I've never seen a company do in the market. It took about 3 months, but it was worth it.

Behavioral Technical

I had a first 15-minute interview to talk about my CV, and they asked me if I knew anyone working there or if I had already gone through a selection process with them. The second interview was similar to the first but longer, where I had to explain my background again to someone from the company. They asked me for feedback on their application. Everything seemed to be going well, but just as I was expecting the technical interview, they rejected me without a reason. They asked for my feedback, but they didn't give me theirs, and I had to reach out to ask what was going on because otherwise, they wouldn't have informed me. It was all talk.
