The interview process for this senior management level role was unusual and unstructured, making for not a great experience. The questions asked were arrogant and unprofessional. It seemed like management and senior management were not aligned on the goals for a new starter. The internal recruitment team needed to better qualify salary expectations earlier on.

Behavioral Technical Case

Great experience interviewing with Meraki overall. My recruiter made it a very streamlined experience and set proper expectations for each step of the process. First, a phone screen with the recruiter. Then, a 1:1 phone call with an inside sales manager asking very basic sales aptitude questions. Finally, there were 4 in-person 1:1s with managers of varying levels. Like the other reviews suggest, KNOW THE PRODUCT and competitors. A good place to start is the company website, but be prepared to understand possible customer objections and a bit about the industry.

Behavioral

The hiring process went smoothly. After being recruited, I was immediately moved to a phone screen, which felt more personal than a test. The recruiter stayed in close contact via text, which was helpful. The interview process was quick, happening within a week of the phone screen, and I had ample time to prepare. I interviewed with five people, including the VP and Director of Sales. I thought this was a good approach and provided personal insight into the company culture. While I found the interview could have been more challenging, I was happy to get the role.
