& Process

The interview process was good and easy. They were understanding, easy-going, friendly, helpful, and kind, which made me feel safe and relaxed. I was very happy with the whole process. Thoughtful questions were asked, and I didn't feel awkward or scared at all.

It was super messy and took forever. They didn't communicate well at all. I had to be the one to follow up on everything. There were four interviews total, and they made it seem like I was gonna get the job. After two whole months and all four interviews, with no actual commitment or next steps, I just stopped. It felt wrong to keep me hanging on like that.

The whole interview process was disorganized and communication was also awful. The different offices did not seem to communicate well with another nor with potential hires. I went through two different interviews, drove to the office to fill out more paperwork and to sign off on a background check, I went and took a drug test per their request and I also paid to get my motor vehicle report because it was required. Throughout this whole process they acted as if I was going to be hired. Then they sent me a letter in the mail informing me that they had decided to pursue other candidates with no explanation as to why. I sent a follow up email inquiring what was wrong with my application so I would know in my future career search and they still could not give me an answer. So after this long interview and "hiring" process, they had no explanation as to why I was not hired.

I had two interviews. The first one was with two HR people. They asked me about my past experiences with kids and in social work. They also asked why I wanted to work there and what I knew about the company, and my research helped. The second interview was with my potential supervisor, which was pretty quick. Afterwards, she gave me a brief tour. I think the second interview was mostly a formality since I felt I already had the job.
