The interview process included a lot of scenario-based questions and a technical take-home assignment. A major red flag was their refusal to disclose the salary, even after I asked twice, once in the initial interview and again in the final one. I've heard Meltwater tends to underpay, which is likely the reason, but it's incredibly shady to go through a 3-stage interview process and not even get a salary range.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process was pretty condensed and practically focused. They put you on the test to confirm that you are skilled for the role via three stages. First one is a phone interview, in which an HR manager asks about your experience, expectations, why you’re leaving, expected salary and so forth. Second stage was a language practical test where they test your skills in writing. There’s an initial assignment to work on, where they tend to test your skills in PowerPoint and Excel. After sending this in, you’re in your last stage in which a 75 minutes e-meeting is conducted to make sure you are the right candidate. That meeting is with the c-level team.

So, I had this initial phone call, and then a second round of interviews. They were supposed to be on Skype, but ended up being over the phone. There were two phone calls, both ran about 10-15 minutes late. They didn't even tell me I didn't get the job, I had to chase them for that info, and no apologies or anything. Both calls were pretty short, like 20-30 minutes, and they asked some general and some specific stuff that didn't really fit, like, they contacted me to apply, and then on the phone they asked why I applied.
