I was offered the job and told I would start training the following week, I was also told I would be contacted regarding my schedule. After giving it a couple days and not hearing back, I texted the manager and did not receive a response. I then called the restaurant to ask for the manager, I was told she wasn’t in but she would call me when she arrived. She didn’t. It was Saturday by this point, so I called again and was very flippantly told the schedule was still being worked on and I would be contacted. They never called me back. If a mistake was made by the interviewer and I wasn’t right for the position, I would really have appreciated being told so to my face instead of being ghosted in such an unprofessional manner.

I applied before the restaurant opened, so they held interviews at a job fair. When I got there, other people were taking a menu quiz we got beforehand. A manager called us when they were ready. I was interviewed by the district manager, though I didn't know who she was then. It was pretty chill. She asked me some easy questions about myself and my past jobs, and also about who I think is key in a restaurant. Then she gave me a job description sheet with the pay and some other papers, and said she'd see me on the first day of training!
