I was offered the job and told I would start training the following week, I was also told I would be contacted regarding my schedule. After giving it a couple days and not hearing back, I texted the manager and did not receive a response. I then called the restaurant to ask for the manager, I was told she wasn’t in but she would call me when she arrived. She didn’t. It was Saturday by this point, so I called again and was very flippantly told the schedule was still being worked on and I would be contacted. They never called me back. If a mistake was made by the interviewer and I wasn’t right for the position, I would really have appreciated being told so to my face instead of being ghosted in such an unprofessional manner.

the whole interview process was pretty simple and took about an hour from the moment I got there to when I left, that included the time to fill out the application. after I sent in my application online, they gave me a job offer right away and I started the following week. when I arrived, the manager who interviewed me was really nice.
