Found the job on LinkedIn and reached out via LinkedIn mail. I then corresponded directly with HR via email and submitted my CV by email. There was a telephone interview that went for about 45 minutes. I got feedback by email.
- What motivates you to seek employment with our company?
- What is your understanding of our organization?
- Could you please state your desired salary range?
Analyst
I had 2 phone interviews with HR and 2 phone interviews with a Business Development Manager. They also gave me 3 Excel tests, one was a take-home test and the other two were done at their office. Lastly, I had an in-person interview with the General Manager. I decided not to move forward with the company because I realized it wasn't the right fit for me.
- Were the questions asked easy and fair?
Analyst
The first phone call felt normal, but then things got weird. I was enthusiastic and did all the tasks, but I felt uncomfortable throughout. I took two vacation days for the interviews. On the second day, they said I couldn't finish a project due to lack of experience with a specific Excel function, which they already knew about from my resume. Despite acing everything else and it only taking 20 minutes to teach me, they ended the process, even though a third round would have required another day off. It felt like a waste of time, doing free work for them and being rejected for something they could have taught me. They mentioned calling me back for another role, but I'm not going back.
- Could you please locate a copier, make duplicates of my W-2 forms, and deliver them to me precisely at 10:15 AM?
