Product Manager
I found the position on LinkedIn, reached out to the HR manager, and was subsequently invited to an HR screening call. The process unfolded as follows: HR screening, Product Execution, Product Sense, a Home Assessment, presenting the home assessment in the office, and finally, an interview with the CPO. I received feedback from HR within 1-2 days, including the reasons for rejection. I was quite pleased with how the process went.
- Considering a B2C trading app, what would be its main features, how would you prioritize them, and what's your reasoning?
Product Manager
My interview process at Glassdoor was divided into two main stages: First, an initial HR Call where I had a very pleasant and friendly conversation with the HR department. They were welcoming and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the process. Second, after the HR call, I was scheduled for interviews with product managers from various departments. During these sessions, they presented me with a case study about a trading app (buy/sell stocks, manage/view transactions on iOS/Android, fee-based revenue) and asked a series of detailed questions.
- What would be the success metrics for this product?
- How would a change in the payment model to subscription packages impact the product's success metrics?
- What are the potential reasons for a 10% drop in system registrations?
Product Manager
Had a one-hour zoom interview with a PM and a Director. The Director was super rude, didn't say anything, and had his camera off. It felt unprofessional and a total waste of time for me and for Melio.
- Describe your feature prioritization process.
- Explain how you communicate requirements to developers.
