Customer Success Manager
The last part of the interview was with a leader, but she was texting the whole time and seemed totally uninterested. It was obvious she wasn't qualified for her own job, which made me question things.
- What makes you want to work here?
Customer Success Manager
So there were 5 rounds in total. It started with 2 behavioral interviews, one with the manager and another with the director. After that, I had a mock call. Then, I interviewed with an executive, and finally, they extended the offer.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Describe an instance where you collaborated effectively within a team.
Customer Success Manager
I applied to a role via LinkedIn and heard back from a recruiter within a day for a 30-minute phone chat. It was easy to schedule. We started with some small talk, I went over my resume, and then they described the job. That's when it got weird. The recruiter said my background didn't seem to match the role and asked where I saw the conversation going. This was confusing since my current job is exactly what this role is. I double-checked that I understood the role description correctly, which they confirmed. I then reiterated that the role was what I'm doing now and would be a good fit. It seemed like the recruiter was multitasking, maybe didn't have my resume in front of them, and kept getting distracted by instant messages. It was a disappointing end to what felt like a disorganized and distracted recruiter. The company is growing fast, so maybe this is just a sign of growing pains.
- Can you give me an overview of your resume?
