I had two calls with the TA Lead over the summer, and they went really well! We had some great conversations, and I was really excited that my resume was getting passed along to a hiring manager. I come from a Life Sciences Recruiter background with pretty solid billing for my first year in the industry, so I was shocked when he got back to me and told me that they weren't looking to set up an interview. They'll hire recent college grads with no experience in either recruitment or pharma, but not someone coming in with the exact experience that they're looking for. Truly bizarre... but I guess it just showed that they weren't the right fit for me.

I chatted with a recruiter on the phone and we had a good discussion about my background and what I was looking for. We reviewed the job and how it fit my experience. Next, I had an onsite interview with the hiring manager at We Work, which had a relaxed atmosphere that helped me feel less stressed. We discussed my background, the role, the team, and future career development. It was a positive experience. At this point, I was considering other job offers. The recruiter was helpful, offering neutral advice and letting me discuss my options and the pros and cons of each opportunity, making me feel supported in choosing the best path. The final stage involved meeting the team and having drinks with them. I had the weekend to decide, and I really grew to love Meet because of the friendly culture and the perfect position I found. I'm happy with my decision, largely due to the company culture and the recruiter. I highly recommend Meet Recruitment for anyone interested in or already working in recruiting.

Ryan McGuinness reached out the day after I had applied through LinkedIn and was able to coordinate a very quick interview process due to housing/time constraints I had. I applied Sunday, she reached out for phone interviews Monday and Tuesday, and I flew up to San Francisco on Thursday to meet the whole team. She was out of the office on Thursday, but I was in great hands with Graham McKernon who stepped in, covered all my needs/qualifications with me, and helped represent me in the candidate pool debrief that afternoon. I received and accepted the offer that afternoon. The process was quick for me but very thorough, and I can't express how happy I am how it all worked out. Ryan/Graham really gave me the confidence to make the move from my previous company to Meet and it's the best professional decision I have made thus far.
