Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Medline Industries.
Product Development Engineer
The interviewer was really nice and let me ask questions. They asked some easy questions, nothing too hard technically. They wanted to know about specific packaging classes or roles related to my experience.
- Could you tell me about specific packaging classes you know?
- Which packaging classes fit this role and your experience?
- What packaging classes are you looking for given your background?
Software Engineer Intern
It was a 30 minute phone interview and they asked pretty basic behavioral questions. The recruiter was really nice and easy to talk to, so it was an easy interview. Overall, it was a good experience.
- What motivates your interest in working at Medline?
Senior Software Engineer
I was contacted via LinkedIn by a prime vendor for this role. The first step was a phone screen with the recruiter. If that went well, they would schedule two interviews based on my experience. Since I applied for a senior role, there were two interviews: one for front-end and one for back-end. During the front-end interview, the questions focused more on my experience with front-end technologies. I had trouble articulating my answers properly, even though I knew them, which was my main issue. It's important to prepare well on your experience and the technologies you've used. I was rejected, and my next interview was cancelled. However, it was a very good interactive interview, and all interviews were virtual.
- Can you tell me about your experience with Next JS?
- Can you tell me about your experience with React JS?
- Could you elaborate on your experience with Next JS and React JS?
