Meditech Analyst Interview Questions
& Process

It was an engaging and challenging interview process. I believe there were three or four interviews in total. The first two were with the recruiter. The final interview involved presenting to the staff, who were clearly intelligent, interested, and dedicated to the hiring process. I really liked the process and it made me want to work there.

First, there's a technical assessment, so they might give you a coding test, a case study, or a problem-solving thing, depending on the job. Then, an initial chat with HR or a hiring manager to talk about your experience, what you can do, and what you want to do in your career. After that, a more detailed interview with people on the team, digging into your technical skills, how you solve problems, and how you handle different situations. Finally, you'll meet with the higher-ups or the main people making decisions, and if it all goes well, they'll make you a job offer.

I found Meditech at a college career fair. After graduating, I applied online and was contacted within two weeks for an interview. The recruiter discussed two potential roles: Software Developer (new features, $50k-$60k) and Programmer Analyst (bug fixes, $40k-$50k). The interview involved a programming quiz and a recruiter chat. The quiz started simple and progressed to writing two short programs using their Magic-FS OOP language. I was told to call back in two weeks if I didn't hear anything. I called after two weeks, but the recruiter I spoke with no longer worked there. The new contact had no update and asked me to wait two more weeks. After another two weeks, I was scheduled for an interview at a closer location. This turned out to be a panel interview with about 7-8 people, focusing on career goals and college classes. I was surprised by the number of interviewers but felt it went well. They again asked me to wait two weeks. I called after two weeks, and they requested references, which seemed like a good sign. They mentioned waiting on hiring slots and expected an update within a week. A week later, I called again, and they said the slots weren't finalized and to wait two more weeks. It had been about a month since my last update, so I called before accepting another job offer. They again said it would be two weeks. Since I had a better offer and knew their 'two weeks' was unreliable, I accepted the other job. Four weeks after my last call to Meditech, and two weeks into my new job, a recruiter left me a voicemail, which I did not return. The entire process from their initial call to their last one spanned over four months. I found their unprofessionalism to be notable compared to other places I interviewed.
