Compliance Analyst
Had an HR interview and then after about a month, went for an onsite interview. The onsite interview was a panel. Everyone was great and the location was nice. I got an offer but declined it. It's a growth company and expanding, and they offered excellent service.
- Can you tell me about your experience and how you collaborate with others?
- What are your salary expectations?
Department Coordinator
Got an email from a recruiter to set up a teams interview. Since I was emailed a teams meeting setup, I thought I would be on camera. I logged in for the interview to meet with a recruiter off camera. I don't see why it wasn't a simple phone call. I then was scheduled for a second interview that went well or at least I thought. I had to CONSISTENLY EMAIL the recruiter on updates on the position. The recruiter completely left me out of the loop and advised they changed the name of the position. At this point, I had never experienced so much unprofessionalism and how much they wasted my time.
- Can you describe a time when...
Business Intelligence Manager
I got an email for a phone interview, and they gave me one time slot. I took that call while I was at my father-in-law's funeral home. I told the recruiter that Medimpact had already ghosted me twice before, which is why I asked why Medimpact. Then, I had a virtual interview with three leaders. Again, they gave me only one time option. It was weird for it to be virtual since it was supposed to be an on-site job. They kept saying 'That's a very good answer' to everything I said. I felt like I connected well with two of the interviewers and gave strong answers. They said I'd hear about next steps the following week, but it's been four weeks. I sent thank you emails and followed up multiple times with no reply, so I guess they ghosted me again.
- Can you describe your management style?
- What makes you want to join Medimpact?
- What's your process for deciding on new software?
Clinical Specialist
The interview started off strangely with the hiring manager intentionally mispronouncing my name to gauge my cultural background. I corrected him and mentioned I used an Anglicized name for convenience. The manager then asked if I was okay with working the last shift and if I was open to a contract role, despite the job initially being advertised as FTE. He also questioned why my friend at the company hadn't referred me, to which I explained I hadn't been actively seeking a move. He incorrectly assumed I earned a high salary in California. Despite my experience with two reputable PBMs, I didn't get the job. Instead, it was offered to someone without PBM experience as an FTE. I believe I was qualified, but the hiring managers seemed disinterested, suggesting I might leave due to my experience, which wasn't accurate. They also mentioned issues with mass layoffs and low company ratings on GlassDoor.
- Is it okay for you to work the latest shift?
- Can you work on weekends?
- Are you willing to accept a lower salary than you currently make?
